BEGINNING

In 1989, Our Founder – Late Mrs. Mumtaz Jahan formed Mumtaz Home.

GROWTH

In 90’s Mumtaz Home started with a few Tufted and Hand Knotted Artisans to make handmade carpets. In early 21st Century Tufting Machines,Computerised Embroidery Machines have been added to make Bathmats, Carpets, Cushions, Value Added Textiles and Beddings.

NEW GENERATION

In 2014, Mr. Sharique joined the company after graduating. Under his leadership our company changed to a professionally managed company with people based on merit taking senior positions and experienced staff being promoted to higher job roles. We also changed to a product centric, fashion oriented company with our product development team boosted from 3 to 8 people. Lot of new hiring’s were done to give our company the technological edge, for e.g. we have a Feedback Manager who goes through customer reviews of E-commerce websites of our clients to improve end customer experience.

MISSION

Only make great home accessories at a reasonable price. This has been our objective from the day we started 28 years ago. To create a base for skilled, sustainable rural employment and help preserve India’s traditional hand woven carpet industry.

PRODUCTION

Our operations include our factory with in Bhadohi, UP, India with a production capacity of 1 million square feet per month, Corporate Office with a talented staff in focused on quality control support, product development support with design team in Noida, just minutes awayfrom the IGI Airport, New Delhi to make our reach easily accessible for the clients. We have our showroom in Noida, 20 miles from the IGI Airport, New Delhi and another showroom in Bhadohi.

State-of-the-art machinery and manufacturing techniques enable us to work with yarns and fabrics in the most astonishing new ways. We are proud to support many of the most prestigious home-furnishing Retailers in the world like ikea with our products and services, as well as many of the top hospitality projects globally.

DESIGN

To maintain our legacy, we are very concerned about our product designing.
Our team comprises of expertise designers from the industry and young designers from reputed institutions like National Institute of Fashion Designing, India and Pearl. As we are trend catchers and obsessive for detailing in our designs but our language is very simple. We have our design studio in Noida which is easily accessible for these new talents from the
country all-round.

We have a diverse range of home textiles and fine rugs – Hand-tufted, hand-knotted, handloom, jacquard, nepali, powerloom, flatweave, pillows, kids, kitchen, throws, basket,bathmats, curtains and poufs etc.

We are a vertically integrated unit with our own production facility in Bhadohi spread over a sprawling area of 2,00,000 sq.f t. The entire manufacturing operations from Dyeing , Weaving , and Tufting to Fabrication & Confection in garein-house and the complete process is in harmony with the environment.
